Fixing heated seat pad

Would be grateful to know from anyone who has upgraded or simply changed the seat overlay of a car with heated seats what adhesive you used to stick the pad in place.

The OE MG Rover heated seat pads all come with adhesive already applied, just requiring to peel the backing paper off.
