Default Hybrid tuner swap - works, but a question

Hi - I put a BMW 6966615 hybrid tuner into my Rover 75, with the standard 2001 board monitor screen, etc. All works OK to a point.

On many channels, the screen shows 'mute' and I get no sound. On other channels, all OK. Picture is fine in both cases and doesn't 'break up' at all.

I assume it's something to do with signal strength, but not sure how to resolve that. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Otherwise all works ok, was able to scan all channels, etc, satellite nav still works. Picture looks quite good.
