There was a legitimate vote, it was well attended, and it was a majority of over a million votes, A MILLION....

But because it didnt go your way, you want to make the system and the country look a laughing stock.

Can I ask you what your views would have been, if the roles were reversed??

Remain won, by a healthy majority and the out campaign petitioned for another vote???

In fact, you dont need to answer that, I know already.
Taking your points in turn:

1. I am petitioning my elected representatives to hold another referendum. I am not peeing all over democracy.
2. It was a good turn out, over 70%.
3. I served my country for 26 years and would never do anything to make it a laughing stock.
4. If the result had been the other way, I would respect your democratic rights in full.
5. I would never dream of telling you what to think or why.

How absolutely pathetic some on the Remain side are.

Amazing hubris.

Don't get the result you want - so try any trick in the book to try to get a re-run

Yeah right! - best of luck with that.............

So up here in Scotland the Yes voters should have had a moan too and lobbied for another independence referendum............ Eh I don't think so.
The vote wasn't spoiled nor was it illegal so you have to get on with and accept there was over a million votes in favour of leaving.
If you don't like it move to the Republic of Ireland or another EU country and let us get on with making the the UK a better place.

Ireland rejected the Lisbon Treaty and then just 16 months later were forced to run another referendum and of course this all took place in 2008 with the second Referendum in 2009 when Ireland was on its knees economically because of the collapse of the Euro.

So the EU got what it wanted by the unusual "method" of mucking up a lot of Countries economies so that people were scared enough to vote what the big bully EU wanted.

To all those calling for a second referendum:- What, apart from the result, was wrong with the first vote?

If we do have another vote (yeah right!) and Remain win, does Cameron un-resign?

Also, should we, on this forum, have another poll to see if we should have a second vote?
