Another highway code one
I've been reading http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=232312
and thought of other scenarios. A roundabout on a T junction. If you arrive from the top right of the T do you give way to the top left? They aren't really on your right, they are directly in front of you. And one that does get my goat. When everyone at the roundabout seems to arrive at the same time, they all give way to each other and nothing moves!! Who should go first?

if they are on the roundabout then yes, if not then no. If however they are going quick enough, to be able to torpedo you in the off side, even if you enter the roundabout first, then again, give way.
as for who goes first, that will be me, cos if they all stop' I'm off, no hanging around on my part macafee2 Last edited by macafee2; 11th December 2015 at 13:41.. Reason: info |

Just thought of some more, usually to do with small cars.
Driving down the middle of the road as there are cars parked on either side. One road I use a lot is near a college. I know from my old job that you can get two transits down the road even when cars are parked. But the students seem to insist on driving down the middle, with about 5 foot either side of them as if they are driving an arctic lorry !!. When people get to a junction that is wide enough for two cars (one side to turn left, the other to turn right). The person turning right decides to swing slightly left before the junction and is now blocking the space to turn left.
