It’s part of the water purification process and there is nowhere else in the area I can get supplies. Also it would have been dad’s 87th birthday today and instead of going to leave flowers at the remembrance garden at the crem, I will have to try and get this part then fit it before I go to work and the crem will be closed by the time I finish work.

Hey mate, you're having a dreadfully torrid time of it at the moment .

I'll raise a glass for your dad and send you some good luck by Karma.

Small successes are good.

Take care.

Back in the Midlands following babysitting duties.

Car performed perfectly following Marinabrian's magic wand. And returned 47mpg over 180 odd miles which is a great improvement. When the new vitons are fitted that might help a bit more .

Mild here - 10 degrees . Thin, high cloud with the sun getting through.

Off to walk Quizzie then taking SWMBO to the hospital to (hopefully) have her cast off. Can't believe it happened on Boxing Day - where has the time gone .

Fingers crossed that the cast will come off and she gets a bit more mobile.

Hush, hush - it's quite funny watching "nanny" being unable to keep up with a 15 month old .

Take care.

Morning all - I think Spring is on the verge of springing. It's a bit overcast but the sun keeps peeping through and it's quite mild. SWMBO managed to get her washing dry outside on the line yesterday - a week ago it would have frozen solid

Nice day here now the suns trying to make an appearance, I found the first Winter casualty! The spray gun on the end of the garden hosepipe has split from ice.

You're not wrong there. Guess what local supplier hasn't got what I need ,the system I use for filtration I have had for 13 years, just change the filters every 6 months but the fittings are now obsolete so looks like I will nerd to buy whole new filter system at 236 quid plus VAT. Van not due next week, tax due March, business insurance due March, but no income for last 2 weeks, will have to ask Rev Jules to lend me the contents of this week's collection plate.

Afternoon all, It's been a nice afternoon so I've been sowing some old out of date seeds to see if they're still viable in the cold frame this afternoon.

Not done so good on ebay! I ordered a pack of three LED drivers for the bathroom ceiling down lights & they're the wrong wattage, dimmer than the others I'm not going up them ladders to change it out I also ordered the wrong size data/charger cable for my missus phone

Chicken Kiev roast spuds & peas for tea

Think the one on the hose at the back is the same. Water coming out of places it ain't meant to.

Sorry for the late reply Phil.

In all honesty I have no idea, it never sticks around long enough for me to find out

Wine should be fine if stored correctly though
