Default Quite an unusual car, that 75

I took my 75 to the tyre shop to have my winter wheels swapped for the summer ones (so now my 75 actually looks as in my signature).

As I am having a coffee in the combined waiting lounge/reception which has windows overlooking the rather large shop floor (six ramps) a new customer comes in and asks where he should line up. I get to hear:

Clerk: "Queue at ramp #3".
Customer: "Which one is that?"
Clerk: "Right behind the... ah... what is that?"
Two more customers start offering: "Alfa Romeo?", "Jaguar" etc.

No one got it right. Not that I own the only 75/ZT in Sweden but it's nice to know that you're not driving the average Volvo.

I had a similar experience last week, although they got it almost right - "you're next after that MG estate in there", they said, pointing at my 75. :-)

It's always nice to hear stories like this. Makes you very proud of being an 75/ZT owner.

Ummm...is it just me? The fact that nobody recognises our lovely cars could be seen as a negative....

At the risk of being drummed out, if we 75/zt owners like to be that bit different, and not have the r-o-m repmobile,

Why on earth buy one in the same colour as almost every other car - Si**er?

Sometimes my good lady uses my 75 to go to work in at BT if it is first on the drive and when her work mates come out with her when they knock off they say "Oh you bought the Jag again"
