Default I think I have a result

I bought a couple of battery charges frim Lidls' about 2 years ago, they came with a 3 year warranty. Early this year one went wrong and so I contacted the manufacture. They wanted to see original receipt which I sent them and they have returned it along with a brand new charger. They did not ask for the old one so I kept it and took it apart this morning. I do not know why but the cover over the push button was not making contact with the push button to change settings. I glued a bit of plastic to the top of the button, put it all back together and now its connected up and charging my caravan van battery.

Result.
Took me longer to undo the safety/security screws then it did to fix the thing.

You are clearly more organised than I am, I just about get out of the shop with the receipt never mind keeping it for 2 years

Well done on fixing the broken one though
