Default 6000K V 4300k Xenon.

I've had a Fog Light out for a week or two. With the favourable weather today I whipped the bumper off to investigate the cause. It was not a blown bulb, but what seemed to be a bad connection which was rectified. The bulbs I had fitted were H1 Osram Nightbreakers.

I decided to have a play and put the stock colour 4300K burners in for a change from the 6000K I've been running for eighteen months. I actually quite like the colour. What do you think?

The Fogs are as white as your going to get with a conventional filament bulb. As you don't drive around with them on exempt in adverse weather conditions, that is how they will remain.

I thought you had 6000k bulbs in them.

well being FOG lights, you probably only use them once or twice a year, or is it a lot foggier than that up your way?

No it's not that bad up here. I don't think I have had to use them this year. Anyone that drives around with them on must be about 105 years old.

That must be 1/2 the idiots round here then Paul, sick of seeing cars with foglights on must think they look like DRL's
BTW, since fitting my yellow bulbs to the fogs, I did use them in thick fog going over the pennines on the A66, & they actually work better than the led's i had ie, you could see the beam in the fog
