Default London and South Meets

Quote from Andy's previous Post on London and South Meets

"My view , subject to hearing your thoughts is using the Ely and Star as alternating monthly meet venues , whilst swapping/adding in the venues to add variety"

We are all aware how busy Andy is at work and with his private jobs.
I have discussed this with Andy and our view is, with POL Mid April and the National at Haynes Mid May, we have enough meets on the go. However, this may not suit everyone. Therefore anyone can organise meets at The Ely or The Star or elswhere during April and May. All we ask is you run it by one of us first.
Attendance by Andy or me is not mandatory. We may/may not attend t realy depends on our availability

I will organise another meet in July, at The Star or The Ely, depending where additional meets, if any, are arranged.

Peter.

Peter.
I got used to regular meets on the second Sunday of the month and I understand why there isn't one in April due to POL, however this June meet has been announced before a May meet.
I understand both you and Andy have busy lives, what I don't understand is why you don't want others to set up meets on your behalves.
You and Andy have a loyal following, no one trying to detract from your roles, just those of who reserve the second Sunday of the month for meets need to know they are happening, so if I've missed a post for the May meet, please point me in the right direction.

Default Meets

Alan,

I thought my post above was perfectly clear, apparently not. Perhaps if I put actual dates in, then it is easier to understand.

"I have discussed this with Andy and our view is, with POL Sat 18th April and the National at Haynes Sun 17th May, we have enough meets on the go. However, this may not suit everyone. Therefore anyone can organise meets at The Ely or The Star or elswhere during April and May. All we ask is you run it by one of us first"

For clarification there is nothing above stating RS's permission is required.
It most certainly is not the RS's having to grant permission for additional meets, more avoiding possible pitfalls below.

5th April (Easter Sunday). 12th, 18th(POL) 19th, 26th April, 3rd May (Prior to Mayday B/H) 10th, 17th (National) 24th (Prior to Spring B/H)
It is obvious therefore that Events in brackets may affect attendance.

Anyone can organise meets at The Ely or The Star or elswhere, at any time, as far as I am concerned. Your call.

Not sure where your comment "you don't want others to set up meets on your behalves" is coming from.

I have clearly stated above "Anyone can organise meets at The Ely or The Star or elswhere"

However I would prefer that the following dates, 24th,31st May, 7th June are avoided.

I trust the above fully clarifies the situation.

As long as I'm not in work I shall drag the ZT down, and may even get the wife to bring the ZS along if it hasn't sold by then.

Dan and Nobby,

That's great. Will add you and Nobby to the list. I will join Nobby for "all I can eat breakfast" Those that know me can confirm I am in danger of wasting away! NOT!! What about you and your good lady, are you eating?

Rick,

What about you and your Girlfriend joining us for her B'Day Breakfast. Then you can both go off and try to top that. You may struggle.
