Default Latest mod- DRLs

Hi

Just finished a full service including auto fluid change and took the opportunity to fit my DRLs.
Set of second hand fog lights and loom.
Two ready made up LED projector bulbs canbus ready. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2513811107...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Relay ( these need to extinguish when you switch on the car side lights for MOT)
Relay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-20-Amp...item338cb1aee5

Bumper off
Passenger headlight out to get access to a side light positive feed. This is the thin wire nearest engine of the four. The outside one becomes positive when you switch on ignition so it will not work.
Ignition positive from fuse box
Test
Re fit bumper and off you go!

Well pleased. They are pretty bright actually and pretty close to what is fitted to new Volvos.

Very nice. Did the fog light take any alteration to house the H1 LED?

Hi

They are surprisingly bright. Was well chuffed when I switched them on.
Would do quite nicely as ordinary fog lights as you have done. Not too expensive compared with some either.

I noticed they are H11, I've not come across any that will suit the alternative H1 fitment..

Was forgetting the difference between mk1 and mk2 fogs. Surely there must be a similar available somewhere.

They do a bulb but the h1 slot is far too narrow for them to go into
