Another vote for DMGRS from me.

This should be the kit you need.

Make sure you get the kit with everything, the PCV filter will probably have never been changed.

Richard; may I suggest that a Haynes manual would be very useful to you. You will be able to find the answers to many of your questions in less time than it takes to log-on. A second-hand manual from e-bay is only a few pounds.

A 20L drum provides for 3 oil changes. Any good quality 5W40 Synthetic meeting the A3/B3 specification or better will be fine as will 10W40 semi-synthetic.

My choices are as follow:

Millers XF 5W40 from Opie Oils 20L costs about £120

Shell Ultra 5W40 from Carparts4Less £83 for 20L with their 10% discount

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5w-40-Full....c100290.m3507

If money is tight, Triplex 10W40 20L drum from Euro Car Parts for about £32

Given the age of our cars, there will probably be very little difference between the above four for all practicle purposes. The 20L drum of Smith&Allan oil is probably the best compromise from the above.
