My original 75 one cost me £70 used but it realy sets the car off with the rest of the walnut so if you fit this one for so little you have done well. Look forward to the pics.

Excellent Phil. It does look the part.

Although Kandyman says 20mm, pab says 19mm. Check this thread to see how it looks readyto fit.

I was lucky enough that Paul prepared and fitted mine for me.

Derek

OK, pulled pushed twisted and the original leather handbrake is not moving. Any ideas to get it off please, don't want to damage anything?

Sorry to state the obvious, but turn and pull a bit more! Joking aside have you tried wrapping a rag round it to increase grip a tad.

Have you released the gaiter from the console, not that this will stop it twisting, but if it suddenly "goes" you don't want to risk ripping the gaiter.

You'll have to turn the gaiter inside out anyway, IIRC, to sort out how you're attaching it to the new handle. I used a cable tie quite successfully - I found the freelander handle was a tad long, so I cut a slice off it, and finished up with no groove for the elastic band Rover used.

Ok thanks for that Baxlin, was just worried I'd break something. It's probably like my steering wheel, battled with the nut for 30 mins went had a coffee then dink turned hardly no pressure.
