New Symphony R/Cs on Ebay
Has anyone bought the Japan spec. Symphony head units from "thezwarehouse" on ebay? They are apparently new boxed units part no:XQD101112PUY with a "Buy it Now"price of £20 plus £10 p&p. I asked the seller what Japanese spec meant and he said it "would only work in Japan" - not such a bargain then! However I am not sure that that is the case but am not brave enough to buy one on the off chance it may be ok in the UK! Has anyone any technical experience that might throw some light onto these units...after all if they did work here they would definitely be a bargain!

With a band expander you will pick up all UK FM stations - just that they will have strange frequecies but just plug them in as presets and your away.
Will work fine with CD changers for the standard Symphony. Stubs Ps you need an arial adapter for the band expander and ties this inot the +ve voltage. |

Thanks guys,
Looks like it may well be a bargain in that case...I have seen band expanders from about £5 to £15, so an upgrade from about £45 is pretty tempting! zan |
