Default Rear Door Tweeters

Over last weekend I had a go at fitting the tweeters in the rear doors.
I had bought the door cards from SMC but decided not to use them and just use the tweeters.
The tweeters just unclip from the holder that is bonded to the door card, as you can see they are quite small.
The doorcard removal is pretty straightforward, the clips are just poped off and as long as you are careful you can re use them.
Unfortunatly for me when I got the doorcard off I could see that the tweeters were already fitted and thinking they were not working I had to cover the bass speaker with a thick cloth and could then just hear the tweeters.
The tweeters are just wired in parellel with the bass speaker.
From what I remember the tweeters cost £70 as a fully fitted extra in the days of MG Rover.

Are you selling those tweeters now?

Take it your going from cream to Ash gray now, Saw that you have Ash gray leather in your car now,

Ive done the same but you will need to buy a lot of parts to change every thing,
Only thing i did not change was the roof lining but you cant notice the colour difference that much,

Afraid not Alex.
I have gone from Sandstone Beige cloth seats to Neptune Blue Leather.
I have not fit any blue trim except for the cubby lid
At the same time I am changing all the wood bits from Light Oak to Burr Walnut.
The wood bits consist of eight parts plus steering wheel, of which I have four parts.
So I am still looking!

They were an option, but a lot of Rover 75's have the rear tweeters also, and any car with the HK upgrade.
