Its going to be good weather for Saturday hope to see you there.
Going in the 75 but with our local club stand.

Was hoping to go in the V8 but gearbox not fixes only just sourced new seals for selector shafts.

Afternoon all, It's stifling here this afternoon I've been sat in the shade of the shed watering the garden with a cold drink. One thing I have noticed in the garden is the Bee's seem to have made a big comeback over the last few years.

Homedmade Fish n Chips with a tin of mushy peas for tea tonight.

Been like that the last few days here, cooler in the morning then somebody turns the sun up around lunchtime. Neighbour is helping me turn an old coal/storage bunker into a cold frame, mini hothouse and I'm getting burnt every day.

Cooling down nicely here now & not a bad evening at all after the blazing hot afternoon.I might even get some kip for a change.

Good idea Steve one of those would make a great cold frame.I was only saying the other day I miss my old greenhouse. I may get another one now that I don't need the room for cars

This old house of ours has a coal hatch (now bricked up) just round the corner from the front door.
The coal man used to dump the sacks of coal through & it landed in the coal hole under the stairs. The cavity under the floorboards there is still thick with coal dust.
