Steering controls again
Hi all have done a search on this subject nothing specific found, have a 2002 zt with a sony cd player no changer, but will sort that later,any way what leads do i need to get the steering controls working and where could i source them from,possibly incartec but not too sure,any info greatly appreciated,thanx in advance guys i'm sure someone will help soon ,very helpfull and friendly site, cheers.

Although you have a Sony unit now, I think the original fit would have been a Kenwood. That had an infra-red remote control system. Bolted to the bulkhead behind the radio you should find a box with a Blue/Purple, Black and Light green/White cable. The Blue/Purple and Black cable need to be removed from the box, the Blue/Purple fitted into the grey ISO plug, pin 3 and the Black to pin 2. Then an Incartec standard Rover 75 ISO and a Sony adapter lead will work.
