I drive limos for a living and they are not as "nice" as folks think. They are basically cut and shut (done properly) and that comes with a host of built in problems. They scrub front tyres, are a bi*ch to park and manoeuvre in tight spots and the rear seats are not as comfortable as the fronts. Most of them were designed as saloons, so do not work well when stretched. The brakes, fuel lines and electrics have lots of extra joints and can all lead to premature failures. The bodies can have cracks due to the extra torsional forces. Watch out for "grounding" accident damage. Enjoy!

Am I the only person thinking the door pillars look plain wrong?

I mean a tourer trim turned upside down to patch in.....why they didn't get some proper sized glass for such a car is beyond me

I reckon THIS 1996 Rover 827 Regency Limousine looks better.

Some conversions are done really well but others are obviously done to a budget! Our new Volvo hearses look just like an estate car. The old Coleman Milne hearses had real road presence and people would be courteous and give way to you. I get cut up and sworn at regularly in the Volvo!
