Do as i did, If you have caller display ane it comes up as unknown number, answer with the saluation "hello, metroplitan police cyber crime division".

ive not had a call in over a year now, i cannot be sure it was them as they rang off before speaking.

I don't usually bother to answer the landline, because it would normally be for SWMBO anyway. If people want me, they ring my mobile. Now - SWMBO is far too polite, especially when answering the phone, so instead of just putting the phone down, or telling them what she thinks of them she politely talks to them.

I kept one going for ages, acting daft, pretending I didn't know what she was talking about. This was after saying I couldn't understand her so she put me onto her manager, then I hadn't the phone to my son, saying he does all this kinda stuff for me.....he's 17 months then I took the phone, eventually told her I knew exactly what she was trying to do. She was ragin!!!!!!!!! Hahahahaha told me she was going to report me to Microsoft, haven';t had a call since. My number must be on their barred line.
