Default t4 Session

Here are a couple of screen shots frm today when Marinabrian came round and hooked up his T4

Question is why did it not read the serial number from the ECU Brain said he has never seen that before.

Second one is some of the errors that popped up checked for loose wires or connectors but could not see any?

Something brian pointed out was a bit funny turns out that it was programed on Aprils fool day 2004 (was a tech having a joke and deleting the serial number)

Just to add again looks like the t4 could not read the
Immobiliser ECU correctly.

I can't tell you why you can't read the serial number, but that is quite a normal T4 screenshot in my opinion.

Lovel do you usually find that the t4 cant read the immobaliser ECU or could that be a fault every thing seems to be working . Although thinkning about it did have the alrm going off a few weeks back after using a powerwash on the car.

I've not had any reason to go into immobiliser ECU so far with T4. However on the odd occasion running T4 for standard diagnostics on a few different cars a message has popped up on screen that it is corrupted. I have just ignored this message, as the vehicles have been working perfectly. T4 can be a little strange at times and I would hope that this is one of them.

Phew, I thought it was just me!. On a slightly different note, I tried in vain to generate & print a report regarding the faults on the DDE4.0 for Andy, however my T4 "hung up" on the print spooler each time, however would print screenshots no problem, one of the things I was wondering was, as I'm using the original HP450 deskjet that came with the system, what was the score with the HP350 printer fix?, perhaps some sort of conflict with the RDS software?
Thoughts anyone.
Brian.
