The superchargers most people fit are supplied and fitted by a company called Dreadnought up in Scotland. Cost I believe is around £6K with a weeks work on the car involved. Performance increase up to 400bhp have been quoted by those who've undergone the upgrade. Other upgrades are available too for further increases in power but by far the supercharger gives the most smiles per pound

You certainly can get a supercharger for the Mustang engine ZT260. Not cheap though. Think the basic 400bhp conversion is around £7k.

Unfortunately most if not all the V6 superchargers ended in the engine producing 0 BHP......i.e bang after not a lot of miles....shame really as i would invest in one if they were reliable.

Think its a completely different supercharger on the V8!! The Sprintex unit fitted to the KV6 was unreliable, not the KV6 engine!

My car is now in the good hands of Brian at dreadnought. The current charge is £7200. The performance change is said to make the car go in 5th with the push of 3rd, cant wait to try 3rd!!!

The problem is the huge cost....for that money I could buy an older XKR or XK8 with a supercharger AND keep the V8....
