If the chrome grill surround is lost then it would prove almost impossible to source one.
Also, one or two parts missing from the engine compartment, and requires quite a bit of attention to the bodywork. All the above on top of whatever the flood caused. Dave T |

The engine parts have probably been removed by insurance company to inspect the serverity of the damage. It cant be that bad though as 90% of cars i've seen with flood damage have been put on cat B break only. This is only on a Cat C so can be returned to the road. I doubt it will though as its worth more in bits. |

I believe the 75 V8 could be put back on the road, that is, by someone who has the time, skill and not a little money.
Even if the chrome grill surround could not be found then it would be possible to fit a facelift ZT bumper and make it into a auto ZT with a 75 interior. Dave T |

To be honest i'd say the engine is more than likely scrap. It doesn't say its a runner and they have put 0 down as the mileage, probably due to dead electrics.

Just how much flood damage has to happen for a car to get written off? I get the distinct impression it's the insurance co's way of getting "difficult" vehicles off the books.
OK, I can see some minor damage to the bodywork and sourcing a chrome surround for the grille would be a challenge but it's all pretty insignificant given the rarity and potential in the car. The interior looks fine from the pics.
