High mileage cars get to be that way because they have proven to be reliable, and in my personal experience they are more often than not, a good purchase..

In a recent chat I had with Brain at Dreadnought, he reckons the engine will continue to loosen off upto about 80,000, so 110,000 is not a lot. I regularly put 6 figure mileages onto cars over a 3-4 year period and (touch wood) haven't really had any real problems, mainly I think because the cars are running hot ie hot oil, hot exhaust, hot coolant so you don't have condensation and moisture lurking, and a car doing a lot of long runs does not wear the same as a car doing a lot of short stop-starts.

From the photos, these both look to be decent clean cars and at that money either is a lot of car for the money. Must confess I'm tempted to buy a spare !!

Mine is coming up to 90,000 with SuperCharger for the last 12 or so.
It was doing 20k a year but now will be a fair bit less but still years of life in it

The brakes were the only things needing some immeadiate attention
Worn out rear disks, NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- hand brake, failing front disks (Mintex which were delaminating and warped) possibly due to a sticking front caliper from rust damage.

Now the brakes are well sorted again I can start dealing with some cosmetic issues

40k or 100+k same rules apply provenance and condition followed by close inspection of what does and does need doing.

Current add doesn't say sold, says reduced to £4999.
