Default Facelift or Pre-Facelift

I'm still searching for a nice Conny SE auto diesel and would prefer a pre-facelift model.

I just like the more rounded shape.

Other than the obvious advantage of it being a younger model, are there any other advantages or improvements in the Facelift 75?

Is there much of a noticeable difference between the CDT and the CDTi?

Which model do you prefer?

its down to youir own personal choice, i have owned both and decided that the Mk1 looks more elegant than the facelift, bu i had the facelift with a low mileage and dont regret it.

The CDTi has more BHP than the CDT, 131 compared to 115 i tbink and it is noticeable as again i have owned both, you can always get a synergie and increase BHP even more on either model

You will probably find that the build quality on the mk1 is better.I know my Yreg 75 was built much better that my '05 ZT-T.The workers probably took more care when they knew the company had a future than when my '05 was built a month before they went bust

You're right. In my Parker's Price Guide (I had presumed that all model variants are listed) I can only see a Conny SE CDTi in 04,54 and 05, so I'd assumed that they were only in Facelift models.

But the CDTi is listed as 52, 03, 53 & 04 in Classic & Club spec's as a Mark 1.

I think the mk1 looks a bit dated now.

The facelift still looks like a relatively modern car IMHO.

The Mk1 looked dated the day it came out, that was the whole point. It is based on the early Jags. Personaly I love the look.

As for the Mk2 it does, as you say, look like a lot of other modern cars, mainly from the front, and for me that's a no no..

But it's nice that we get a choice innit.
