Default brilliant site !

Hi all, not a regular poster as such, but wat a great place this is, on my second 75, had a nissan primera for a year in between (wat was i thinking of ! ) twisted mrs mueys arm and got another limo ! funny thing is, in my 1st 75, i had a resident spider in my wing mirror, nothing in the nissan, and now 6 weeks into my 2nd "limo", i got another resident spider in my wing mirror ! spiders must have standards too ! Shame for spider, web gets blown away to and from work, but the busy bugga will replace it every time! i hope at some point i will be of assistance to somebody on here , heres hoping.

Hi Mark,
Do you fancy joining us for stage 6 of the Round Britain Rally?
Stage 6 is Chester to Glasgow, and we have various people joining the convoy en route. Preston North End FC is a meet point which might be local to you. You dont have to do the whole section, just what fits in?
Anyway, if your up for it give us a shout,,,,the more the merrier!
Cheers
Mike

Yes! great comments there.... oh and luv the spider thing, sooo funny.

I tooooo done the same, pleaded with the missus to buy our first 75. The wife wont really drive it yet as she is frightened of damaging it as its sooooooo long, so I went and brought her a Renault Scenic to keep her happy. Thats two vehicles and two vehicle road tax discs in two weeks ( well one month)

I have noticed on the club that some of you refer to these vehicles as a LIMO  this is great as my children also refer to our 75 as their LIMO....

Trivia:
There was a Long Wheel Base version of the 75, often referred to as "LWB" or "Limo". At first the were produced by McNeilie (sp?) but later brought in-house at Longbridge. They are 6 inches longer than the standard 75 wheelbase and give an awful lot more legroom in the rear. Other features include a clock (just as the one in the dashboard) for the rear passengers just behind where the sunroof is situated. We have a few members who actually own a few examples.

mine is not the "limo" as such, but its "my" limo. my first 75 was a 2.0 with all the toys. mrs muey (Joanna aka J ) spotted it as rover went belly up around the same time my 800 went belly up. was hooked ! (line and sinker)
