Time to leave the forum. Big Thanks to all!
Hi folks!
I have sold my Rover 75 and I hope its new owner enjoys it. Its replacement is a Honda CRV, so I guess I should leave this forum. Before I leave, I just wanted to say a big and sincere THANK YOU! to all of the very helpful members, who have informed, supplied and educated me, whilst I've been a member of this forum and who have made it such an excellent resource to be a member of. I wish I could find a Honda CRV forum with as many useful and informed members! Best wishes, Paul a.k.a. "Jacques Schiddt" (Now, to try to find out how to close my account on here...)

But either way - If you stay we can continue to say we know jacques schiddt, and if you leave we'll have to say we don't know you Alas I fear that I'll also be jumping ship soon. Tin worm is taking hold of the ZTT's sills, both subframes and the upper arms are looking crusty - D Day is June 2020 when the next CT (mot) is due. I said something very similar 7 years ago - as Reebs said to me when I came back, 'Once Bitten, Forever Smitten'.
See you soon

Perhaps CRV owners, always pay for garages, to work on their cars. Maybe we should start a forum...?!

Why leave the forum, Paul? I sold my 75 must be 10 years ago (OK it’s still in the family, with my son in law). I 'left' for a time, but I still have the site on my Google favourites page, as I enjoy the chats, even occasionally answering somone's query.

My experience of (older) Honda cars; wonderfully reliable, but a tad boring, and lacking in character, but sometimes boring and reliable is what you want! Honda also tend to be very competent and thorough with servicing your car, I am told, - partly because there is rarely anything unexpected needs doing!

Don't leave just because you don't have the car anymore, just have a look every once in a while and even though you don't have the 75 you do have the knowledge that you acquired whilst owning one and my hold a vital piece of information nobody else has.
