I am really sorry to hear of Derek's passing, but I have not logged in for quite sometime (shameful).
Derek was always a very friendly face at the meets and Lilian to. I have suffered my health problems over the last few years and Derek would always ask after my health a selfless man and a proud man. R.I.P Derek

Just called back onto the website after a long time away and this news has knocked me for six, Derek was one of the folks who offered me comfort when I lost my dad and shared my joy when my son was born, What a rotten shame. Rest Peacefully Derek.

Unfortunately I have never had the pleasure of meeting Derek, he sounds like an absolute and total Gent.
Also ... it is clear we all owe him a debt of gratitude not just for his service to the club but his service to our country too. R.I.P. Derek. And sincere condolences to Lilian and family. |

Today marks the anniversary of Derek’s passing. He is remembered with much fondness as he was a good friend to many of us, a Rover and Marmite connoisseur.

If everyone in this world was as honourable and gentlemanly as our Derek, the world would be a happy place to live in.
God rest you Sir, my glass is raised once again in your memory. Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk
