I can't justify insurance at that price. Pee'd off, the ZT isn't just a car, it's part of our family and I never imagined having to sell it.

A generous, very kind offer worth thinking over. No more horror stories please guys. Lets come up with something positive like Andy has suggested. I know we have people on the forum who work for car insurance companies. Please step up.

Alan's ZT is a real beauty which he posted up a photo of it out in the countryside at sunset. I don't know if anyone has seen the photo which is top quality and worthy of the 2014 club calendar

I've said it before and I'll sat it again, Car Insurance in this Country is the closest thing you can come to legalised theft!
Absolutely, my car whilst legally parked outside my old house was hit, written off and I had fully comprehensive protected cover, did not stop my insurer adding to my premium as I had an accident as far as they were concerned, even though non fault, still having to declare it now some 4 years later, roll on next year no longer have to... legalised robbery for sure and the government legislation does nothing to stop them.

I miss the old days when I could insure myself on any car, most insurers did away with that, thanks to pressure from the Police to supposedly "stop" illegal drivers, not working obviously according to Police programs on tv, they still catch illegal drivers.....

Although cannot grumble at my current insurer, they quoted me dearer this renewal, I priced matched them, then added my learner partner onto the 75 tourer and it came in cheaper again, go figure ......!!!

Is there no cheaper insurers around? some will do better deals on the phone, thats what I have found in my experience, a computer quote does not listen to the facts... a person does and presses the right keys to get a decent quote, Just a thought, good luck OP... Insurance to me is as bad as MOT's , Id rather have teeth pulled.
