Default fuel pump not online

Evenin all

A freind/Customer of mine is experiencing some issue with his V8.
Basically if teh car will start after 3 attempts then you need to walk away and give it 10 mins....come back and Voila it works.

The only error is 'fuel pump not online'.............the filter has been changed.

any ideas chaps

I would plump for the fuel filter, having wither separated or fitted incorrectly back into the tank

I'm assuming it is a MGZT or R75 V8

Hi greeners,
It is actually a brand new filter fitted yet it still carries the same fault as the old one. My first thought was the filter i must say
Yes its the ZT
