Not quite in the same league but I went up on the train to Kendal to collect mine, the previous owner came to collect me ad he was in a right fluster on arrival he hadn't used the car much and the nearside front calliper was seized on the smell was err interesting

I spent a chunk of the day in Halfords car park freeing off the pistons before heading home and the following weekend I replaced the calliper.

All part of the 'experience' I reckon
