I have used Tomtom, Garmin and Igo8 and IMHO Igo is by far the best. Garmin is the worst.

Paypal fees should be 3.4% of the total no more no less
Paypal policy is that sellers are not supposed to apply the surcharge anyway!

Paypal is far safer though than say Western Union, even Ebay with all its for profit focus and NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- the customer mentality won't touch Western Union so it must be really dodgy!

As for Win CE and TMC
First the device must have the ability to receive TMC obviously
secondly whatever software is used if the driver can't detect the TMC tuner then no TMC

Has any one tried searching for TMC hardware on this unit, trying different port and baud rates?

I unlocked my Navigon to run Igo8 on it because some of the skins are superb and the on screen information is excellent but if I need TMC for a particular journey I switch back to the standard Navigon software.

The latest from Cathy (as of 7.30 this morning) is that the new basic unit price (with RDS and IPOD) will be $360 and not $390, due to bargaining with suppliers and the Paypal costs ARE NOW ONLY $15! (As long as I have understood it correctly in her wording). Here is a copy of what she actually wrote (probably sent to several members at the same time).....

1.The 8733MG model, now the newest price is 360$, not as before 390$. The reason is we try to bargain with the raw material supplier, so they reduced the price to us, so we can reduce the price of this model for all the clients.

2. Now we can accept paypal, but as I mentioned before, it has high hanlding fee, but now it also reduced already, so the handling fee of pay by paypal is 15$ now.

See what a little (negative?) publicity can do to get prices down

The new unit when available will have a rear ipod connection and RDS
But the latest version has a front usb port for MP3.. Cant see the point of a rear port!

Rear connection is great if you want a wire-free front panel i.e. you can put your iPod/USB drive in the glove box or centre cubby.
