Bargain CDTi - East Ayrshire

Hi there.

Spotted this on Glasgow Gumtree.

It's an 05 Contemporary CDTi on 86k for £2,995 with nearly full years MOT. Seems very cheap, but it has had an insurance repair. Still seems awfully cheap.

Potential bargain if anyone is looking for one.

yeah cat d or c write off- meaning it's worth 1/3 of normal book value- but we all know how easy it is to get these cars written off "no parts" etc... insurance value £8000 hahaha nice car though

I like it, agree that it is a little salty for a cat c but if I needed a car cheap I would be bidding for it starting at £2200, and I'm a ZT man.

On Gumtree............. isn't that the site wth all the scams on it?

So perhaps a case of buyer beware

You do need to be wary of Gumtree for some things, but there are also genuine sellers and some bargains. Got rid of a fair few things lately, not for much money I might add, but it is free unlike the bay of e.

But as always, buyer beware. Do the usual checks to be safe.

Seems a nice buy that, wish i had spotted this one before i got the club cdt i bought a few weeks ago.

To be honest, the damage in the pics looks fairly minor, and i certainly wouldn't be put off provided the price was right :lol:
