T4 info like info on the tracker type thing i have recently found in my car is virtually non existent on the Net
there is probaly more info on T4 here from me than anywhere else you will find

I took over a year to track down an installer for RDS3.11 in order to install a replacement hard disk in the T1 I fixed. Not only did the stupid thing use custom hardware but it also had copy protection software on the HDD as well.

T2 went to plug in ISA cards instead of the T1 custom PCB both made by HP, T3 probably can do all a T4 can as far as the ordinary FWD 75 and ZT is concerned however I bet only a T4 can do the V8

T2

Ironically I now work for HP!

I thought it might be a good idea to keep a list of all available testbook software for MG/Rovers as more and more people are getting access to T1-3 and even T4.

Default Reinstalling windows on T1

When I boot up the machine I get the message:

error loading keyboard.drv. You must reinstall windows.

I have the Testbook System Software DRS00311 with W95 and RDS3.1.

I have tried rebooting using safe mode but no luck but can get to a C: prompt.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to reinstall W95?

Thanks very much!
John

You need a copy of Windows 95. Ironically it was only a few months ago that I threw mine away while haveing a clean-out. You can try and download a copy for the Internet and do a repair, or reinstall (but you will need a proper licence / serial number).

The system software says it has W95 on it but I can't get from the C Prompt to D: drive (which is the designated drive- I assume).

Don't know if a W95 cd will autoload though.

I think I have a win 98 start-up disk which may help. I could email the files to you to try out.

Thanks Bill, I don't know if W98 startup disk will work as I can't get the drive letter in DOS to change to the CD Rom drive letter.

Anyone know if a external floppy drive will work with T1?

The T1 has the 34pin internal floppy connector, that works for the W98 start disk
