And one on eBay; this is the larger bottle, but well worth it in my opinion.

Yes, for me too. I don't get the cleaner, I don't see ant dirt coming off or any real benefit, but the conditioner works well and smells great!

Is this the intensive cleaner? I found this to be quite good compared to Autoglym.

Question Gliptone smell !!!!!

Hi cleaning experts.
Decided to clean the aging leather seats and after much research into the best products I decided top try Gliptone.
Well all went well, the seats look a treat and the dirt is all gone.
........but the smell
How long does it take to go away or settle down to a bearable level? I find it really strong and not nice. Can the smell be quickly reduced ????

I overdid it a bit with the Gliptone conditioner in my old BM, and the smell was a bit much. Good news is, within a few days it had died down a lot and there was just a nice smell of leather - noticeable but not overpoweringly strong.

So I'd give it a few days and it should be ok. If that fails you could most liley reduce it by having another go with the cleaner.

That is good to know Dave...t, I will just wait then. Thanks for the reply. I must say the seats certainly look 100% better.

Didn't know leather had varieties! Can anyone help here, as I would like to know if my 2002 Connie has full leather or just the seat facings are leather.

Most leather car seats are coated virtualy painted
Some cleaners meant for real leather can take the coating off.

so when you get it wrong or fancy a change these come well recomended
