i did notice the seat runner/controls are bmw units......gorgeous interior love it....wonder if it could be done now that 75's are being sold for pence nowadays...bit of cutting/welding...and a dash of filler...whose brave enough??

that was purely concept and sadly no were near production if i remember the extended door meant that the windows if they were real couldn't be phisically moved up or down just no way to get a mech to work in the door

If it's only make believe,then surely it would have been a Twin-turbo V8 from them nice people at Alpina.BMW would have agreed to that ....wouldn't they????

Here is a picture of what you need to do to start the change to a coupe.



Looking at the picture of the interior I notice that the auto gear lever is the type fitted to the V6 and not the V8, also it has a left foot rest also not fitted to the rover 75 V8.
I know its only a mock up but MG Rover seemed to mix and match some V6
and V8 parts.
For instance, twin exhausts and a front bib spoiler.

They should have made a convertible version too. I bet the body would have been stiff enough to need very little strengthening

As far as I know it is still in the Visitors Centre at the factory (now MG).

I would keep it in the garage, put it on the drive in nice weather, and take it to meets on a trailer
