i am so annoyed
whilst driving home from a wedding reception
last night, in my lovely clean freshly polished ZT some dirtbag *****ole dropped something off a bridge which landed on my bonnet on closer inspection in my garage i found a dent the size of a 50p piece and about 5/10mm deep almost plum in the middle of my bonnet jeez i wish i could have 5 mins alone with these cretins i work so hard,so that these people(i use the term loosely) can stay in bed all day, and roam the streets at night and now to me anyway,my lovely well cared for car looks tut............. so my question is, could this dent be pulled out? if so does anyone know of anyone? i'm in the north kent area,10 mins from dartford bridge tolls kents newest car park....... Edit:- This is the thread topic. In the interest of all others that read this, all extraneous post's especially where swearing has been over used are being removed. They have not been deleted, just moved off the public forum. Last edited by GreyGhost; 25th May 2009 at 23:16.. Reason: As stated. |

Can you get at the underside of the dent? Or it it on a double skinned bit? If its only little you should be ok to gently tease it out with a hammer and a block behind it and a cloth, saying this is reminding me of that father ted episode with the car for the raffle! But seriously take your time you'll be suprised how well you can get them out, I would give it a go if you're willing to call someone in to do it for you then you might aswell, whats the worst that can happen!

One of my top worries when I had my F and TF was driving under bridges that had people on!

Conversely, the Northern equivalent is "We'll take that off him by any dirty means at our disposal". Which is precisely what they did to me....... Which explains why Northern people with ability flock to the South, and woe betide anyone who does the reverse! Sounds as though attitudes are equalising to the lowest common denominator now, though! |

Sorry to hear about your dent, John. If it can't be knocked out you could try looking for a second hand bonnet. Could be easier and cheaper to replace the whole things, although I have no experience to back that statment up!

If you look up SMART repairs in the yellow pages you should find someone that will help remove the damage. They are quite reasonable.

Halfords do a very good repair service too. There are also people who will come to your home or works.
