Me too, let’s have The banned members reinstated for December as a show of goodwill.

G'day all - sent from the front seat of my car near Pooley Bridge - 'cos I can get a mobile signal here
Another wet & windy night in the Lake District - sunny now but more rain forecast. Off into Penrith today to stock up on grub and cider.

Stocking up is a good idea in the lakes, the views always look cold from the van window with a beer in hand.

Supplies have been taken into stock - just sampling Thirsty Farmer Premium Nottinghamshire Cider to wash down the chargrilled chicken pizza and strawberries.
Lo and behold - it's stopped raining and the sun has come out

Stopped raining in the Lake District! Are you sure you haven’t had a few too many ciders?!?

Thank you Richard. If they have not changed they may still likely be on the data base of a site which Ed and yourself were once stalwarts but which is currently mothballed however I do occasionally visit to clear the cobwebs and check for anything untoward.

Thanks for that Phil. I know of some who I think were caught up in the moment or might have been misunderstood in their postings and others who had great support and affinity for the site but fell on their sword so to speak on points of principle without ever intending to harm or bring down the site. I know that some of my posts have not been interpreted as I intended more so when posted in humour or tongue-in-cheek - there but for the grace of God go many of us I suspect.

Some of them I would agree Andy. Those as mentioned in my reply to Phil above who have displayed good intent and without history of malice - pretty much in agreement I suspect with all we might both have in mind.

Morning Ian

A bit mixed down here, the sun is out now but we have had rain overnight, hopefully no more wet stuff for the rest of the weekend.

Afternoon Andy. It's warmed up & staying dry today so lots of gardening/pruning work for me, Missus & daughter have moggied off to Knaresborough for the day Telling me I need to be in for a parcel delivery today ......hope they get petrified at old mother shipton's cave

I've been bagging up lots of ripe tomatoes from the greenhouse for family & neighbours, there are tons of them on the vines, that's the only trouble you just get too many, I'll have to put fewer plants in next year.

I've already been buying lots of seeds/bulbs for next year, I'm going to have a better variety next year, the onl;y trouble here is there are lots of snails & slugs around here & it's a full time job keeping them off outdoor plants mI need a flamethrower I got some really exotic bulbs from the Southport flower show earlier on in the year, Hope they will grow & bloom on the Lancashire Riviera .
