Default F2 driver dies in Belgium Grand Prix

22 year old french driver killed in accident at Belgium race this afternoon.
Thoughts go out to his family, friends, fellow drivers & fans.

Very sad in this age of safety and various protections, it is easy to forget how dangerous motorsports of all disciplines are.

Just seen this on the news - very sad.

Despite the many safety improvements since the “bad old days” - driving is dangerous - be it on the race track or our road network.

Very sad indeed.

The sport has lost a rising talent and thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I won't be doing my usual F1 thread today.

I'm sure all of the paddock will do a sterling job of respecting and celebrating his life in equal measure.
