I think we all have the wrong hobby

my new hobby is going to be a metal detectorist.

Who wants to be messing about with cars when you can go hunting for treasure in Britain's glorious countryside.

I have a few magnets and go magnet fishing when time allows, the best things I have found so far are fishing hooks

You need to be careful, and have permission from landowner. Alot won't allow them on their land.

I just saw this on the news... What an amazing find. Metal-detecting couple find one of Britain's biggest ever treasure hoards as they discover almost 2,600 ancient coins worth around £5m in an unploughed field. What amazes me is... the hoard wasn't even buried that deep. Watch the video HERE...
