It's wheel related, but I'm still running Serpents (well, 3 anyway!)

Nope

Try thinking " why would he change just one wheel?"

Spot on!

20 yards from home on a road I've driven for best part of 40 years, I suddenly decided to hit the kerb . Nice big scuff all around the wheel .

I've got a nice Serpent in the boot for just such occasions, but it's never been on the car since being refurbed 3 or 4 years back, and the tyre is also brand new. When I got it out of the boot, I just couldn't bring myself to put it on the car, so one of the Meteors went on instead .

The Serpent should be back next week, when I shall be £90 poorer.

Having that odd wheel on your wonderful motor must be
a similar feeling to having a shiny red spot on the end of your nose. Everything's rosey........ except for one thing!
