GP reckons its either an infection or a bug bite/sting, doubt the bug bite/sting theory, I'd have noticed. Chemist doesn't have the cream or antibiotic prescribed, won't get them in til tomorrow morning. I've to bathe the eye with cotton wool and boiled water . . . . once the water has cooled down that is!

I've been put on carpet shampooing duties today the muck that comes out of these carpets is embarrassing

You should see what comes out after a professional clean
Some of the dirty water that's extracted sometimes looks like engine oil
