Morning all,

We had a thunderstorm in the wee small hours. Didn’t last long though and it’s already hot and muggy this morning !

Working in Colchester and Ipswich today, temperatures expected of around 34c

Best I slap some sunscreen on me thinks .

Cool

Morning all.

Massive thunderstorm storm from 11.30pm till gone midnight. The rain was heavy I could see across the road. And this morning, it’s lovely and cool. Very misty though.

Off to the dark side today by bus.

Storm arrived here about 3am, and stayed until about 3.30.

Morning, got my wish for thunder, woke me up about 4am. Been very heavy rain, all the plants in the garden look stunned and the hanging baskets (one in particular) have been battered.

Hope they get to the bottom of what's going on with your Mum Rich.

Morning all, It's a wet cloudy morning here after the thunderstorm last night.

Horrendously hot to sleep at least the forecast is for lower temps today.

Much the same here Richard.

Best wishes to your Mum for getting a diagnosis and speedy recovery

Evicted a frog from the garden last night, it was sitting on the path next to the gate. No idea how it got there, the garden is surrounded by a 6' high wall and there's steps up from road level. Couldn't leave it where it was in case the girls spotted it, put it in the front garden. It seemed a bit lethargic, wondered if it might be a bit dehydrated so gently poured water over it, perked up and disappeared under a bush.

Morning - disappointed from Guisborough here; despite a good hour of heavy rain during the night (no thunder that I heard mind you) it's not really any cooler or less humid this morning. Just had a shower and got wetter drying myself than I did under the shower

Dear me! I'm stuck to the chair with sweat, the humidity is horrendous.
