Congratulations Bob on getting the Bear through its MOT. Mike S of MJS Auto & Marine Littehampton, how is he? I haven’t seen Mike for ages.

He is well and getting on with his new home and new life. Done a HGF for a customer and was paid not with money but with a speed boat. Took that instead of the cash.

Ready to go - all hooked up and ready to roll.

READY TO GO by Rod Thrower, on Flickr

Norfolk at 10.00am this morning, just before we set off for Lincolnshire, where we've arrived safely, all set up the awning in place - and guess what?
...................... it's raining.
The only consolation is that the forecast is now for showers, rather than the torrential downpours threatened for this area overnight tonight.

Enjoy your stay in yet another flat county of England both of you

P.s. Thinking of going to Croft next year for the BTCC.
I know it's not that far from you, fancy a day at the races Rod?

I rarely criticise the NHS but the GI Unit at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary leaves a lot to be desired. I had a liver biopsy a few weeks ago and was told I'd get the result in writing, nothing appeared, wasn't overly bothered, presumed the consultant was leaving it til my appointment today. Went up, appointment has been rescheduled to October but they didn't think to let me in on the secret

Its not the first time they've cocked up, I mentioned before that they omitted to advise me about stopping aspirin before the biopsy which resulted in that being delayed.

Oh yes oh yes - should have been there this year with son and grandson who went on Sunday - if it hadn't been for my holidays.
Needless to say, you won't need any hotel accommodation

Evening all, My missus had another new (used) flat pack wardrobe delivered this afternoon Lets just say it was nowt like the "quality" described in the advert
It's up except for the doors, I'm too knackered to bother with them tonight, time for a cold bottle of cider or two of 'angry orchard hard cider' .

Nice rig Rod, I hope you get some decent weather for the rest of your holidays.it's been grey here but just about kept off rain today, very warm though.
I did some haddock fillets for tea with some herby potato wedgies.
