Thank you!
I went to Brecon last night and tried the same. Got some reasonable results but the moon was out in full which bleached the sky unfortunately.
I will get back up there again.

We went to Brecon yesterday to see if we could see any meteors from the shower.
I saw one, SWMBO missed it.....

I took the camera and caught this. The moon was out in full which unfortunately bleached the sky but despite that, I'm quite pleased with this...

On and off, over the last couple of days I've been revisiting some of the photos I took in Japan last year, seeing if any of them could be salvaged.
Basically, when I went I had no idea how to use a camera properly. I bought a DSLR specifically for the trip. (how hard could it be, I thought...)

These photos were awful before editing. They weren't shot in RAW so I was just working with JPEGs.

It just goes to show how powerful photoshop actually is...
These were destined for the bin!

More to follow, I'm sure.....

Went out tonight with the camera...
Only a few miles up the road to a woodland and managed to catch this.

I was sent to America this week with work.
Only for three days but I was determined to make the most of it.

I was sent to Baltimore.
This was my first time in America and I really enjoyed it.

This is the harbour. USS Constellation is docked there.
