Thank you very much guys.
Here's the Dragonfly from yesterday.
I'm not entirely happy with this image, but it's the best one I've managed of a Dragonfly.
My lens is just a bit sharper at F9 and I didn't realise when I was taking the image I had adjusted it to F11 for a previous shot.
By the time I'd realised it had flown off!

I had the day off work today to go to the dentist.. Crippling tooth ache..
Anyway. As it was sunny, I took the camera out for an airing. It was too windy really and not much about, however I did see a few Crane flies.
They are interesting little creatures. Their eyes are fascinating. I wish I could have captured better.. Hopefully it won't be as windy next time..
Here's two of today's efforts..
The first one, I was focused on the eye, with wide aperture to capture as much detail as possible. Hence the shallow depth of field/focus.

Thank you Steve.
I'm hoping it will be a bit drier this weekend and less windy. Then hopefully I will have better luck and be able to focus a bit sharper.

I managed to get my macro lens back on last week...

I managed to get an "in focus" shot of a hovering hoverfly!!

Here's a couple of others:

This one was a bit of a surprise. I was focused on the ant and didn't realise there was a spider in the shot until I looked on the computer:

I've not used the macro lens much this year, which is criminal when I think about how much it cost...

I stuck it on today and went out for a walk..
Nothing much about today which was a surprise. This is about the best one I got today.

I forgot I took this... It was hidden in a different folder on my SD card. (My camera creates a different folder after 9999 images taken...)

Anyway, I was quite pleased. I think wasps are pretty creatures but find them difficult to photograph. They either don't sit still or chase me away!
