I do know of at least two this year that have sold for way over the figure mentioned.

As I've said many times before they are only worth what somebody will pay........

Couple of nice cars out there..............
Having spoken to th o.p yesterday,he has decided against the v8. His plan is to get his CDT connie back on the road, and maybe get a really nice low miler v6.
From his last text to me ,I gather he is at present in discussion with a fellow member on such a purchase. watch this space

That's a bit of a shame as the running costs don't differ hugely.
  • V6 is in the VED-band as the V8.
  • Tyres are the same, based on 18" rims
  • Insurance on a par
  • V6 roughly 28mpg, V8 maybe 22-23 mpg driven sensibly

For a very good reason..........

Difference between mass produced and limited and last MG/Rover V8

Some are willing to pay the higher price..............

Is this one special? It is a late registered one (though this obviously doesn't mean late of the production line..). It's a tourer. It has had the same owner from new. And it has Rover 75 seats in it!

Does anyone on here, or on the Two-Sixties know about it?

Interesting there is another white one doing the rounds.
last one I saw was a Mk1 and ex police or emergency services or something like that.

I wonder could this be the same car with a a facelift kit?

It looks plain silly with that mismatched dash and wheel.

as for SE v Non Se there is another option a stripped out SE then keep the bits only for later resale!

My car is currently nearly 100KG lighter with all the stuff I have removed for the bodywork and the sound with the rear seats removed etc is fanastic

I am sorely tempted to strip it all out and just have a driver seat
I reckon there is another 100 -150KG that could come out.
