Default Bent my V8 - Wanted LHD ZT 190 steering rack!!!

Wanted LHD ZT 190 steering rack

yes that is right
An upside down LHD ZT rack fits the RHD 260 apparently and I want to replace mine as it may have taken a bit of a wallop as the track rod snapped.

If anyone knows of a LHD car in a Breakers anywhere please let me know

That is a bit expensive for secondhand
I have tracked down a new one in the UK for less now thanks.

I am just not 100% sure I need to change mine but thought about getting a SH one so I could get it reconditioned and swap it out later if necessary up until I found one available all the new ones I found were only availble with complete front ends which I can't justify buying

All I really needed was an inner track rod to get it working again
I bought one of these

http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=86241

Which may be fine for some of the fwd cars but is too short for the V8! so I has a second hand RHD 190 on the way which will provide the pats I neen so I can get the car rolling again

I won't really know if I need a new rack until I get the car down to the body shop where they will do a full alignment checks etc in order to set up the rear suspension.

I was wrong a LHD 190 rack is not a direct swap the inner track rods are too short.

So I have now bought a brand new rack.
