Well done Jennifer, as long as it got you through

Was it a DAF by any chance? They’re bad for that

Antifreeze is fine as long as you don’t drink it, a few drops won’t hurt you, anyone who’s ever seen me checking for antifreeze will know that I always taste it, mind you that cat & dog friendly stuff is disgusting, the tiniest drop on your tongue & it turns your face inside out quicker than them sour sweets & it stays with you for hours afterwards

Ps you simply can't beat an MGBGT as an every day car, I got my first one in Zambia when I was 19, this is my 5th one. Shipped another one from UK to SA and drove it many times between Johannesburg and Zimbabwe. Drove another from los Angeles to Miami, couldn't be without one.

I’ve got a bit of a thing for MGBs it’s got to be a GT preferably not red I could take a rubber bumper car but my favourite would be early 70s with the sunken black grille, probably teal blue or bracken

I gave in today & went over to Longbridge, changed the handbrake compensator, removed the cataracts from the headlights & mucked it out inside.......not that it was bad
