Default Pure highway 400

Hi.
This post may be in the wrong place but I thought it may get the best viewings here ( Had a couple of beers tonight so apologize for any spelling mistakes )
Money is tight and I can't really justify spending a few ££ pounds on the modern double din radios that's on offer ,but I really do fancy having dab in my trusty 75. I,m really tempted by the Pure highway 400 at the moment. It looks neat and very versatile , and really want to get away from being forced into listening Chris Evans in the morning on my commute to work. Every morning my ears are offended by the cheap Tarzan affects and stupid French horn that he thinks are great. Further more Steve Wright in the afternoon drive me crazy on my way home with his dreary music, but its the only radio station I can pick up here in the Marches without interference. ( radio 2)
So I was thinking of a dab and the Pure highway 400 seems to fit the bill. Halfords are selling them for around £130 and will tune into the existing radio keeping things nice and neat ( just how I like it :=)
But before I go spending my hard earned cash on one ,do you more knowledgeable people here know more about any pit falls that it my present. As said before money is tight and I don't want to buy something that's going to turn out a gimmick and end up something that looks good but doesn't work properly
Anyway thanks for reading and any replies given.
All.the best
Johnny. :=)

I’ve fitted an earlier 300 and it worked ok for what it is although quite difficult to make the screen look ‘factory’. I’ve fitted a few pure kits that integrate into a manufacturers satnav screen and use its display and they worked as though it was fitted from the factory and was quite impressive for the cost

I had one of the early Pure Highway units in my 75, but I had to double up on the screen mounted aerial to get it to be completely reliable, and I couldn't hide all the wires.
