Default Signs that your getting old

Apart from owning a Rover 75

Remembering when heaters in cars were optional.

When vinyl seats were the norm.

Front seats with no head restraints.

Seat belts were an extra.

Disc brakes were the new safety item.

ABS had not even been thought of.

Tinted glass was only on those super luxury cars.

Cigarette lighter were the same as above.

Datsun cars Oh! were these a Japanese form of transport

When car radios were a luxury item.

Remember the 8 track stereo OMG I still have one fitted to my VP 1300

The luxury push button radio some even with the new FM

The In car cassette player

Then the revolutionary CD player CD's were indestructable

Well now Ford have just annouced that they will be ceasing to fit CD player to their cars in favour of the latest in thing mp3 & the like.

I am really getting old and I'm sure there's more items for the list.?

The Leopard is more cynical, is less likely to suffer fools, feels old when in pubs with the other cats, shops for clothes at M&S, shoes at Clarkes, doesn't really teenage cubs, and drinks real ales... On the car theme; cupholders...

Also when you see the favourite cars of your childhood at car rallies, or dishevelled, or on the scrapheap
