Sports Cars In The Park
Had an email today about this year's events, I know Stu has posted some of the info in the NE section.
3rd May, Newby Hall 19th July, Lotherton Hall 13th September, Castle Howard It mentions last year's issues getting into Newby Hall (queueing) and says it will be better this year!! Sportscarsinthepark.co.uk Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

Pretty sure Lotherton Hall has been cancelled due to A big increase in costs by Leeds City Council
Summer - Lotherton hall - Cancelled Over the years this venue has proved the most demanding in terms of time and paperwork. After dragging their repricing structure over several months this year. Lotherton Hall and Leeds Council have issued new charges for events in the last few weeks. Doubling the cost to us and limiting the display cars to 450 including SCITP staff, traders, first aid and security. We do not have any sponsors for this event. As such, the venue is now not viable as an event going forward. The risk of significant financial loss is too high to continue for SCITP. We are now having to unpick all the booked services and absorb the loss of deposits. We are now on the lookout for a replacement summer venue. One that is not owned by any council. This in no way affects our Newby Hall or Castle Howard events. |
